AD Sports 2 is an Arabic television channel owned and operated by Abu Dhabi Media. This group of channels was launched on September 15,1998 under the name Abu Dhabi Sports, but over the years it became commonly known simply as AD Sports. AD Sports 2 is part of a network that includes both free-to-air sports channels and satellite television channels.
Over the years, AD Sports 2 has been known for airing some of the most popular sports disciplines and tournaments across the globe. Some of the sports aired on this channel have included football, basketball, tennis, motorsports, and combat sports such as jiu jitsu or mixed martial arts. Foreign competitions and domestic tournaments have all found airtime on AD Sports 2 as time has gone by.
Speaking about football, AD Sports 2 has covered games for competitions such as the Eredivisie, the Australian A-League, the Major League Soccer, and the UAE Pro League.
