Premier LeaguebeIN Sports has acquired exclusive broadcast rights to the English Premier League in Turkey after signing a three year deal. This arrangement will come into effect just in time for the commencement of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign, and will see beIN Sports provide live and on-demand coverage of every single match.
More details In addition, the pay-TV network, which replaces Saran Media at the end of the 2021/22 term, will provide bonus coverage, including pre and post match analysis, weekly highlights, and carefully curated shows.
League Cup
BundesligaPay-TV network BeIN Sports has secured exclusive broadcast rights for Germany’s Bundesliga in Turkey. Under terms of the deal, which runs for four years through the end of the 2024/2025 Bundesliga season, BeIN Sports will provide live TV broadcasts through its family of channels, while live streaming and on-demand access will be offered through its corresponding app, beIN CONNECT.

beIN Sports 3 Turkey History, Coverage, Features

beIN Sports Turkey is a network of pay-tv channels owned and operated by the beIN Media Group and Digiturk. It was launched on September 4, 2000 and was briefly known as Isik TV. It would start working under its current name on November 26, 2001. Some of the channels that have been included in the network are beIN Sports 1, beIN Sports 2, beIN Sports 3, beIN Sports 4, beIN Sports 5, beIN Sports Max 1, beIN Sports Max 2, and beIN Sports Haber. Added to the terrestrial channels, the company has also developed an online streaming service known as beIN CONNECT Turkey.

Over the years, beIN Sports Turkey has focused on broadcasting the most popular sports in the world. Some of the disciplines covered by the network over the years have included football, basketball, and tennis, to name a few. Additional coverage to live events has been provided with news and highlights shows.

beIN Sports 3 Turkey has frequently been referred to as the network’s third most relevant channel, since the most relevant live events have been aired on this channel as time has gone by. It was previously known as Lig TV 2 for a brief period, but it settled to beIN Sports 3 once the beIN Media Group purchased the company. beIN Sports 3 has focused on providing football and basketball coverage.

Speaking about football, the channel has focused on covering games for the Turkish Super League, the French Ligue 1, the French League Cup, and the EFL Championship. Other leagues such as the Australian A-League have also been available on this feed. 

Speaking about international club tournaments, beIN Sports 3 has provided overflow coverage for tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the UEFA Women’s Champions League. Last, but not least, the channel has also aired FIFA World Cup games. 

beIN Sports 3 started airing content in Standard Definition, but a High-Definition feed was made available to all users in 2009. Years later, the network developed an Ultra HD feed, which has been downscaled to HD and SD to fit their subscribers’ needs.
