SportPlus is a Greek-language sports channel aimed to reach Greek citizens living away from their home country. It was launched on August 24,2014 and it is distributed by Odyssey Television Network.
This channel was originally launched in the United States, and shortly, Greek citizens living in Australia were able to tune in in that country. The channel was available to be watched in Canada on March 26, 2015.
Throughout its history, SportPlus has aired football games for the Greek Super League and from the Football League, Greece’s second-tier football category. Added to that, SportPlus has made available to its users games from the Greek Basketball League, with news and highlights shows also included in the network’s schedule.
SportPlus’ sports coverage might feature live and delayed broadcasts aimed at its target audience, although some of their shows might not be available after their original broadcast.
