Canais Globo is an online streaming service owned and operated by Grupo Globo. The service was launched to provide on-the-go access to users who want to follow sports events on their personal computers or mobile devices.
Canais Globo replaced a sports-focused streaming service called SporTV, which dealt with streaming all SporTV’s terrestrial feeds. The parent network decided to mash all feeds together in one streaming service in 2017.
Users who want to access Canais Globo need to provide credentials, which are handed to them by participating cable and satellite TV companies.
Canais Globo’s sports coverage is provided by SporTV, a television channel that has made a name for itself due to their coverage of many disciplines.
