	FIFA World Cup (2022-2028) State broadcaster TVP has acquired Polish rights to the 2022 World Cup for the live broadcast of all 64 matches on its multiple platforms. Extensive World Cup coverage is expected on linear networks TVP1, TVP2, TVP Sport, and TVP 4K for UHD quality. This includes World Cup match highlights, game recaps, and more. More details Viewers in Poland may watch all the matches live on TVP’s streaming service and mobile apps. From November to December, TVP is also airing insightful dedicated shows such as World Cup Evening and Studio Qatar.
	UEFA Euro (2024-2028) TVP will air all of Poland’s matches from the UEFA Euro 2024 and Euro 2028 tournaments on its networks, following a six-year deal that makes the broadcaster the sole rights holder for the Polish national football team's games.

	UEFA Nations League (2022-2028) TVP has obtained free-to-air rights to the Polish national team’s games in the UEFA Nations League in 2022, 2024, 2026.
	UEFA Euro Qualifying (2022-2028) TVP holds the rights to show qualifying matches from Poland for the UEFA European Championship.
	World Cup Qualifying (2022-2028) Polish public-service broadcaster TVP has secured exclusive rights to the Polish national team’s matches, from 2022 until 2028. The deal was announced in the first half of 2021 and includes a minimum of 60 matches from the Poland team, in addition to at least 234 games from other leading European countries in football. More details As part of the agreement, TVP will air Poland’s World Cup qualifying matches.

TVP Sport is a Polish television channel owned and operated by by Telewizja Polska, a media corporation from Poland that is mostly operated by the government of that country. This channel was launched on November 18, 2006 to focus on sports coverage, leaving its sister channels to cover more general interest shows, but also sharing with them coverage of top sports competitions from around the world.

Over the years, TVP Sport has aired a wide variety of disciplines, which have included athletics, cycling, equestrian, football, futsal, handball, Ice hockey, tennis, weightlifting, winter sports, and even certain editions of the Olympic Games. Some of the content aired on this channel has been related to international tournaments, but domestic competitions have also been featured on this channel as time has gone by.

Speaking about football, TVP Sport has aired content related to club competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, the Polish Ekstraklasa, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the Spanish Copa del Rey. International football tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup, the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the UEFA Euro, the UEFA Nations League, and the Copa América have also been aired on this channel.

TVP Sport was launched as a Standard Definition channel, but a High-Definition feed was added as one more option for fans on January 12, 2014. The launch of the HD feed did not cause the SD feed to disappear, as both have been available with the same content over the years.
