UEFA Champions LeagueTelevisaUnivision has clinched the Spanish-language broadcasting rights for the UEFA Champions League in the United States, a deal from 2024 to 2027 valued at $225 million. The comprehensive package encompasses live matches, match highlights, previews, and post-match shows. Content is anticipated to be distributed on linear TV networks, mobile apps, and OTT platforms.

TelevisaUnivision has secured Spanish-language media rights to the 2023 and 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup editions. This adds both editions of the continental tournament to the giant broadcaster’s long list of soccer competitions, with live matches on its multiple platforms across USA.
UEFA Conference LeagueIncluded in the $225 million agreement between TelevisaUnivision and UEFA is the right to broadcast the UEFA Europa Conference League in the United States from 2024 to 2027. The deal is not limited to live matches but covers match highlights, previews, and post-match shows. Distribution channels include linear TV networks, mobile applications, and OTT platforms, broadening the competition's exposure to Spanish-speaking soccer enthusiasts in the U.S.
UEFA Euro QualifyingIn addition to the 2024 rights, TelevisaUnivision has secured the Spanish-language rights for the UEFA Euro 2028 Qualifiers. The acquisition means several qualifying matches for the 2028 tournament are expected to be aired live on the network's TV, mobile and web platforms throughout the broadcast agreement.

World Cup Qualifying
CONCACAF Champions CupTelevisaUnivision has secured exclusive Spanish language rights in the United States for the upcoming Concacaf Champions League (CCL) editions as part of a multiyear agreement with CONCACAF. The deal covers the tournament's 2023, 2024, and 2025 editions. The agreement comes on the heels of a record-breaking CCL Final, showcasing the increasing popularity of the competition.

Leagues Cup (2023-2026)
Spanish-language broadcaster TelevisaUnivision has secured the rights to air Leagues Cup games live in the USA. The Leagues Cup, which features teams from Liga MX and Major League Soccer, is showcased on TelevisaUnivision's linear and digital platform. Coverage includes the highly anticipated Leagues Cup Final.
More details With 47 teams participating from both leagues, TelevisaUnivision aims to bring the excitement of this cross-border competition to a wide range of audiences. Additionally, matches may be streamed on TUDN's streaming service and mobile apps.
Primera ATelevisaUnivision has acquired streaming rights to select matches from Colombia's Categoría Primera A soccer league. The exposure of teams like Junior F.C., Independiente Medellin, and Independiente Santa Fe is expected to increase the league's accessibility in the United States and attract new audiences through continuous live action.

CONCACAF U20 ChampionshipTelevisaUnivision has landed the Spanish-language broadcast rights to the CONCACAF Men’s U20 Championship for 2022 and 2024 in the USA.

Friendly (2022-2028)
TelevisaUnivision has also secured the broadcasting rights for International Friendlies soccer matches in the United States, extending its agreement until 2028. This deal grants the media conglomerate comprehensive coverage options, including live matches, match highlights, previews, and post-game analysis.

Liga MX
Mexico - Liga MX (2020-2026)
Spanish-language media company TelevisaUnivision has acquired U.S. rights to the Mexican Liga MX. As part of its extensive coverage of the Mexican top division, the broadcaster has agreed to stream multiple matches live on its streaming platform ViX, in the USA. Live telecasts are expected on the company’s linear networks as well, throughout the period of the deal.
Primera DivisionAs part of a round of South America football league contract finalization, TelevisaUnivision has added select matches from LIGA 1 Perú to its streaming platform. TelevisaUnivision's coverage of the Peruvian league features notable teams like Alianza Lima, Sporting Cristal, and Universitario, among others.
More details In the past, games from the Peruvian league were mainly available through DirecTV's Perú Magico channel. With this arrangement, live LIGA 1 Perú may be streamed on the subscription OTT platform ViX.

About UniMás

UniMás is a U.S. based Spanish-language television network owned by Univision. The channel has a significant audience reach in the USA, of approximately 70 million households. The network is ranked as the third largest US Hispanic TV network behind Telemundo.

UniMás offers programming that is targeted to a younger US Hispanic audience such as live soccer matches from the Mexican league, novelas and sitcoms. UniMás broadcasts in 1080i (HDTV) and 480i (SDTV) signals and is available on national TV providers such as Dish Network and DirecTV. UniMás is also available to watch online or on the go via OTT services such as fuboTV and Sling TV. The channel is available in many key hispanic markets through affiliations with local broadcast television stations.

UniMás offers sports programming dedicated almost entirely to live soccer matches and related soccer programming targeting US Hispanics, Latinos and Mexican Americans. Due to its association with Univision Deportes Network (UDN), UniMás combines to broadcast many of the UDN soccer properties on its network. Such competitions and leagues include weekly matches of Mexico's *Liga MX and the MLS (Major League Soccer). UniMás also offers friendly and competitive matches of the Mexican National Team. This summer UniMás will align with Univision Deportes and Univision to offer complete coverage of the 2016 Copa América Centenario being hosted in the USA.

*Note: Liga MX matches are limited to those of the following Liga MX teams: América, Chiapas, Cruz Azul, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Querétaro, Toluca, UANL, UNAM and Veracruz.

UniMás’ programs can be watched via Univisión NOW, an over-the-top streaming service which enables viewers to watch their content without an existing pay television subscription. This service also gives users the chance to replay content on-demand up to 72 hours after the program’s original broadcast.
