After this week's matches, there will only be three more left to determine the winner of the competition. Who'll come out on top? Watching these games will be key to find out.

The end of this year's Copa Libertadores is fast approaching, and the games being played this week will have a major effect on which teams make it to the title match, scheduled to be played at the legendary Maracaná Stadium.

For this year's semis, there will be three teams from Brazil and one more from Argentina fighting for the honor of winning the coveted title. Three of those teams have previously won the title, which will make it even more special for the eventual winners in case it is a new side or a former champion. As things stand, we already have secured the presence of a Brazilian side in the final, but making it two for the decisive match will not be an easy task.

This week's fixtures could also confirm the battle for the top goalscorer, with two of the best performers in front of goal still involved in the title race. Right now, Fluminense's Germán Cano leads the pack with nine goals, but Palmeiras' Artur could still do some damage and claim the top scorer crown all to himself having scored five times in the competition.

It will also be interesting to see if Boca Juniors can keep their unbeaten run going in the KO stage of the tournament, where they are yet to lose a match and have managed to make it this far without even scoring a goal during regulation in their quarterfinal tie. Their rivals in the semis will not make that easy, but Jorge Almirón's men have proven to be quite effective defending, which will only keep us wondering if their strikers can handle such a difficult job.

Let us guide you through this week's fixtures, so you can get a better idea on what to expect from each gaame as we head into the final matches of the South American competition.

Fluminense vs Internacional: Out of the four teams involved in the semis, Fluminense are the only ones to never have won the Copa Libertadores. They came close in 2008, but they fell in front of their home crowd against Liga de Quito, but this time the club seems to have better odds of making the final. With a talented squad led by Marcelo (now available after being handed a three-match ban) and top scorer Germán Cano, the team coached Fernando Diniz will try to build up on their strength at home, where they have not lost a game in this competition. Meanwhile, Internacional want to show why coach Eduardo Coudet managed to turn things around for them and lead them to their first continental final since 2010, when they defeated Chivas to win their second Copa crown.

Boca Juniors vs Palmeiras: The only non-Brazilian club left in the tournament will get to host the first match of their tie against Palmeiras, a team that has been involved -and won- two of the last three editions of this tournament. Boca will try to put to good use their defensive strengths, which have seen them keep three clean sheets in four KO stage games. Nevertheless, the always intense Argentine fans will want their team to show a bit more drive when fighting for this match, which will undoubtedly require some contribution by star striker Edinson Cavani. On the other side of the pitch, Palmeiras will be betting on their attack, as they did in their previous KO stage matches, where they won both away fixtures to finish the job at home with two goalless draws. Given the team's recent experience in this tournament, the Verdao is seen by many as the major title contender, but it will be up to Los Xeneizes to prove them wrong and make way for them to play one more continental final.
