The PFA Young Player of the Year nominees have been revealed, and to no one's surprise, the shortlist is dominated by three of England's biggest clubs: Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea.
The two biggest names to make this list are Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer, two England players who impressed at Euro 2024. The Arsenal winger enjoyed his most productive season in front of goal in 2024-25, scoring 16 and assisting an additional nine.
While the Gunners ultimately missed out on the title to Manchester City for a second season running, Arteta's side came within two points of ending their two-decade wait, with Saka at the heart of that title push.
Palmer, on the other hand, enjoyed one of the most fantastic debut seasons in recent history, scoring a whopping 22 goals while assisting 11. While his Chelsea side missed out on top four, the Manchester City academy graduate finished the 2023-24 campaign with the most goal contributions by any player (33), narrowly beating Ollie Watkins and Erling Haaland.
However, the only team to earn more than one nomination in the PFA's six-man list were Manchester United, with the Red Devils' Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho making the cut.
Mainoo broke into the England national team's starting eleven during the knockout stage of Euro 2024 and never looked back, particularly impressing in the semifinal win over the Netherlands.
Garnacho, meanwhile, made only one appearance in the 2024 Copa America but showed his worth in the recent Community Shield, scoring the opening goal before eventually losing to Manchester City on penalties.
Wrapping up this list are Michael Olise and Joao Pedro, the French and Brazilian talents who wowed fans at Crystal Palace and Brighton last term. Olise has since left the club for Bayern Munich but his 16 goal contributions (10 goals, six assists) in 19 matches earned him a nod.
Arsenal's Bukayo Saka won this prize last year. The winner of this year's gong will be revealed on August 20.
