The Argentine Primera División continues to share quite a few surprises for their loyal fans, with the battle for the top spot heating up and with some of the popular teams rising through the ranks after having to endure slow starts to their season.
Huracán, Unión Santa Fe and Tucumán are only separated by one point, and this weekend will prove to be quite tricky for all these teams since they will be playing away from home. Other clubs to keep an eye on will be Vélez and Racing, who cannot be ruled out of the race to claim the top spot.
Speaking of the most popular teams, Boca and River are yet to reach the top five, although Los Xeneizes have a good chance to do so this week. Diego Martínez's men are unbeaten in their last five, and another win would see them joining the title contenders. Meanwhile, River Plate sit one point behind their bitter rivals, still waiting for Marcelo Gallardo to work his magic after three draws in a row.
