The next to last week of action in the South American competition carries on with a large number of key games. Find out which ones with this guide.

There are only two games left for each team involved in the group stage of the 2022 Copa Libertadores, and while some of the favorites are still struggling to earn their spot in the next round, others have already done their homework in advance and can now kick back and watch other clubs tearing themselves apart.

Defending champions Palmeiras and Argentine side Estudiantes are the only qualified teams to the next round with two games left, while others such as Flamengo and River Plate could secure their spots in the KO Stage with a win this week. Last, but not least, teams such as Boca Juniors, Colón, and Cerro Porteño still have a good option to make it to the next round, but they will rely heavily on earning points this week, otherwise their future in the competition might be compromised.

Here is how the groups look like with four games played by each team and into the fifth week of action.

Top Copa Libertadores games to watch this week

Boca Juniors vs Corinthians - The top of Group E is at stake in this clash, with Boca needing a win to leapfrog the Timao. The first match of the competition between these teams ended in a two-nil win for the Brazilian club, but this time Boca Juniors will try to make their home-field advantage count to pave their way to the next round before Deportivo Cali can have a say in the outcome of this group.

Flamengo vs Universidad Católica - The red and black side is one win away from making it to the next round, and they will try to claim it when they welcome Universidad Católica later tonight. A loss for the Chileans would be devastating to their hopes, but a win could make Group H a tight affair to sort out during the final matchday. Flamengo claimed a 3-2 win over La U in their previous meeting, which is not a good omen for the team coached by Ariel Holan.

Atlético Mineiro vs Independiente del Valle - The Brazilian side is also one victory away from earning a spot in the next round, and it could be precisely Independiente del Valle who could deny them of that possibility if they can beat them this week. The team from Ecuador proved to be a tough nut to crack in their first match, a one-all draw that took place on April 26, and while a similar result would not be bad for either club, both teams will be surely trying to put three more points in the bag to keep themselves in the race for a spot in the KO Stage.

River Plate vs Colo-Colo - The top spot in Group F will be sorted out here, as El Cacique are three points behind Los Millonarios after four games. The Chilean side was unable to beat River Plate at home in their previous encounter, and one more win for Marcelo Gallardo's crew would do wonders for their cause and would also keep their unbeaten run in the ongoing tournament.
